With the new version V1.11.0 of the PTV Developer Geocoding & Places API the Suggestions by Text endpoint now supports a focus on the map section.
A search center can be defined with the center parameter, sorting all suggestions according to their proximity to the center. The closer a suggested location is to the center, the higher it will be in the list of suggestions.
With the Geocoding & Places API you can create geolocation-based applications that enables users to forward/reverse geocode addresses with high precision, search and display geographic locations, such as shops and prominent Points of Interest (POIs) in various categories.
