The PTV Developer Routing API allows you to take the European emission standard of your vehicle into account when calculating tolls and emissions. Until now, the default emission standard for all predefined vehicle profiles offered by PTV has been Euro 5. We want to keep the predefined profiles up to date. As Euro 5 came into effect in 2009, we will change the default emission standard to Euro 6 (effective from 2014) at the end of this year.
What do you need to do now?
If you already overwrite the emission standard of the selected profile with the request parameter vehicle[emissionStandard], or if the emission standard is not relevant for you, you do not need to do anything!
If your vehicles comply with the European emission standard Euro 5 and you rely on the emission standard of the selected profile, you must specify the emission standard EURO_5 with the request parameter vehicle[emissionStandard] in future.
